In October of 2003 Bruce Robertson was a guest on Court T.V.'s Catherine Crier Live. The topic was a discussion of the Robert Blake murder case. Robertson was asked to comment on a complicated aspect of the case wherein Marlon Brando's son Christian Brando was quoted as saying regarding Blake's murdered spouse, Bonny Lee Bakley, with whom he himself had been involved, "Someone ought to put a bullet through that bitch's head" prior to her death. The discussion questioned whether Christian Brando's caretaker tried to intimidate a woman who revealed that statement. Robertson commented on what would be involved in confirming the allegation of witness intimidation.
